Ensuring that our company can be reached by as many people as possible, it’s important that research is done as to how architecture firms market themselves.
1. Understanding our clients
-what kind of company will we be creating? -what kind of people will we want to choose our business (commercial Developers, people building homes for themselves)
2. Website
A Website is the best way to showcase the past work and ethos of the company, ensuring we have a visually strong and informative site may put us ahead of competing firms.
-the site should have a portfolio section where clients can see past projects
-an explanation of the business
-contacts allowing the potential Clients to inquire
-continuity between the website helps create a brand for yourself. It gives the company visual identity.
3. Social Media
As it is the 21st century, social media is a great was to reach more people And a further opportunity to showcase our work.
-again, it is important to know what kind of clients you are targeting as social media may be irrelevant for us as a business.
4. Partner with specialist
For us, this would be a very important and relevant way of marketing ourselves as a company. Having a partnership with a specialist allows us to share equipments, softwares and skills that Would benefit us.
-in our case, we would try partner with a VR company, this would cut costs for training and equipment.
-it also opens a door to more clients that can be referred to you through The partnering company
5. Contact press/publications
-having your work showcased in relevant journals is a good way of sharing the work you do with the kind of people that would be interested. (I.e. architecture journal magazine)
6. A name that represents your brand
-your name will represent the brand, the name should be relevant to the individual company.
